Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 28, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the Creatorwood Critic Program for everyone clipping and reviewing AI films and indie films. By applying — and by checking the agreement box on the application — you confirm you have read and agree to them. They apply alongside any campaign-specific requirements.
1 · Eligibility & your account
These terms govern your participation in the Creatorwood Critic Program (the “Program”). By applying, you agree to them.
- You must be at least 15 years old to participate.
- You provide accurate information when you apply and keep your contact and payout details up to date.
- You participate as an independent contractor — the Program does not create an employment, partnership, or agency relationship.
- You are responsible for any taxes owed on earnings you receive through the Program.
- We may approve, decline, pause, or remove any applicant or participant at our discretion.
2 · Required in all clip creative
Every clip you submit to a campaign must include the following, in addition to any campaign-specific requirements.
- Tag the film's official account / handle in the caption or description on every post.
- Include the film's title and the #Creatorwood hashtag in the caption.
- Keep the campaign's logo or end-card visible where the campaign provides one.
- Show the campaign's watch link on screen (or include its QR code) so viewers can find where to watch.
- Add a clear call-to-action linking back to the full film or watch page.
- Use the campaign's approved music or audio only — no unlicensed third-party tracks.
3 · Eligible content
- Only clip from AI films and indie films featured in active Creatorwood campaigns.
- Use the assets provided in each campaign — do not pull footage from sources outside the campaign.
- Respect each campaign's posting window: clips may only go live during the dates the campaign allows.
- Always credit the original film and creator where the platform allows it.
4 · Clip quality
- Clips must be your own edit — reposting someone else's clip is not allowed.
- Keep edits faithful to the film; no misleading thumbnails, titles, or out-of-context framing.
- Do not reveal spoilers a campaign asks you to protect.
- Vertical clips should be 1080×1920 (9:16); horizontal clips 1920×1080 (16:9).
5 · Posting & accounts
- Post from accounts you own and that comply with each platform's terms of service.
- No bots, view farms, or artificial engagement — views must be organic.
- You consent to view verification through your connected social accounts so we can confirm performance.
- Disclose paid/branded content where the platform or law requires it.
6 · Content ownership & license
- Film footage, logos, music, and other campaign assets remain the property of the film's creator or rights holder.
- You receive a limited, revocable license to use campaign assets solely to create and post clips for that campaign.
- You grant Creatorwood and the film's creator the right to view, share, and feature the clips you post for the campaign.
- You confirm you have the rights to any additional material you add to a clip.
7 · Payouts
- Approved clips earn the campaign's stated rate per 1,000 verified views, unless a different arrangement is agreed.
- Only views we can verify as organic count toward earnings.
- Payouts are processed through our payment provider; you must complete payout onboarding to be paid.
- We may withhold or reverse earnings tied to clips that violate these terms or that show fraudulent or inflated views.
- If we choose to run your review or clip as a paid advertisement (for example on Meta or TikTok), you earn a fixed paid-ad bonus set by us for that campaign, paid in addition to any view-based earnings. The bonus amount is set by the platform per campaign — it is not negotiated or set by you.
- Granting us the right to run your content as a paid ad is part of participating in a campaign that offers a paid-ad bonus; we are not obligated to run any clip as a paid ad, and no bonus is owed unless we actually use your clip in a paid ad.
- Rates, bonuses, and budgets are set per campaign and may change for future campaigns.
8 · Prohibited conduct
- No fraudulent, bot, or incentivized views or engagement of any kind.
- No misleading, defamatory, hateful, or unlawful content.
- No use of campaign assets outside of an active, approved campaign.
- No misrepresenting your identity, audience, or analytics.
9 · Violations & enforcement
- Clips that break these terms may be rejected and won't count toward payouts.
- Repeated or serious violations can result in forfeited earnings and removal from the Program.
- When in doubt about a campaign rule, ask in the Discord before posting.
10 · Disclaimers & liability
- The Program is provided “as is.” We don't guarantee any specific level of views, earnings, or campaign availability.
- We are not responsible for actions taken by third-party platforms against your accounts.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the Program is limited to the amounts paid to you in the prior three months.
11 · Changes & termination
- We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
- Continuing to participate after an update means you accept the revised terms.
- You may leave the Program at any time. We may suspend or end your participation if you breach these terms.
